What age is this for?
GiftTrails is for ages 6 through adult. The game grows with your family — younger kids love the simple hunts, while older kids (and even college students home for the holidays) enjoy tougher clues and puzzles. Best of all, the kids never outgrow it — they can even turn the tables and build a trail for mom or dad, like hiding clues for Mother’s Day.
How do I choose which cards to use?
Completely up to you! Most hunts use 8–10 cards, which makes for about an hour of fun. The Key Code Index makes it easy to pick hiding spots that fit your home, so you’re always in control of the trail.
How long to setup? How long to play the game?
About 30 minutes to set up an 8–10 clue trail. Many parents set it up the night before so it’s ready to go. Once the hunt begins, kids usually play for about an hour — and building the trail can be just as fun as watching it unfold.
